Colombia da un paso adelante en la promoción del turismo inclusivo con el programa ‘Rutas con Orgullo’ , una iniciativa liderada por el Ministerio de Comercio, Industria y Turismo, en alianza con Fontur y la Cámara de la Diversidad. El proyecto tiene como objetivo mejorar las experiencias turísticas para la población LGBTIQ+ , fortaleciendo la inclusión en las políticas públicas del sector.
Con una inversión de $1.216 millones de pesos , el programa busca democratizar el turismo en ocho ciudades clave: Bogotá, Cali, Medellín, Pereira, Cartagena, Villavicencio, San Andrés y Neiva .
Encuesta y premios para los participantes
Como parte de la primera etapa, se lanzó una encuesta que permitirá identificar las preferencias y necesidades de esta comunidad. Los participantes, además, podrán ganar boletos aéreos nacionales .
“Este proyecto pionero refleja el compromiso del Gobierno del Cambio con la diversidad y el respeto, posicionando a Colombia como un destino seguro, sostenible e inclusivo”, destacó el viceministro de Turismo (e), Juan Manrique Camargo .
Por su parte, Felipe Cárdenas , presidente de la Cámara de la Diversidad, subrayó que esta estrategia responde a las tendencias globales, donde los turistas LGBTIQ+ priorizan destinos que valoren la diversidad y ofrezcan experiencias auténticas.

La segunda fase de ‘Rutas con Orgullo’ incluye la publicación de una guía turística especializada, consolidando a Colombia como referente del turismo inclusivo en América Latina.
