Lima, 2025 – En el marco del Almuerzo de Camaradería de la Asociación de Hoteles, Restaurantes y Afines del Perú (AHORA), se llevó a cabo la asamblea en la que se eligió al nuevo consejo directivo del gremio. Pablo García Wagner, representante de Hoteles San Agustín, fue reelegido como presidente para un segundo período, que se extenderá hasta el año 2027.
La lista presentada fue la única en contienda y no mostró grandes cambios en su composición, excepto por la incorporación de Rodrigo Lazarte de Hoteles Tierra Viva como Vocal. El nuevo consejo directivo también está integrado por Liliana Picasso (1era Vicepresidenta), Gabriela Fiorini (2da Vicepresidenta), Sergio Rivas (Director Secretario), José Casapía (Director Tesorero), y como Vocales: Gianina Robinson, Vicente Flores Razuri, Ana Kanashiro, Marcial Ortiz y Rodrigo Lazarte.
Durante el evento, García Wagner hizo un recuento del trabajo realizado durante su primera gestión y presentó el plan de trabajo para este año. Además, destacó la trayectoria de asociados como La Granja Azul, que cumple 15 años de operaciones, y Hoteles Costa del Sol, que celebra su 30 aniversario.
El gremio también otorgó reconocimientos a destacadas figuras del sector, como Maritza Montero, vicepresidenta de Canatur; María Del Sol Velásquez, directora de Turismo de PromPerú; Teresa Valencia Dongo, presidenta de AHORA Arequipa; y Rosa Elena Balcázar, ex presidenta de AHORA Huaral.
El almuerzo contó con la presencia de altas autoridades, entre ellas Madeleine Burns, viceministra de Turismo; Ricardo Limo, presidente ejecutivo de PromPerú; María Del Sol Velásquez, directora de Turismo de PromPerú; y Carlos Canales, alcalde de Miraflores, junto a líderes gremiales y representantes de las AHORA regionales.
Con esta reelección, García Wagner continuará fortaleciendo el trabajo de AHORA Perú en favor del desarrollo y la competitividad del sector hotelero y gastronómico en el país.
