El vibrante destino turístico de Mazatlán, en Sinaloa, se ha tomado Punto México, el espacio de exhibición y promoción turística del Gobierno de México en la Ciudad de México. La muestra, inaugurada por las secretarias de Turismo de México y Sinaloa, Josefina Rodríguez Zamora y Mireya Sosa Osuna, respectivamente, estará abierta hasta el 30 de marzo de 2025. Durante este tiempo, los visitantes podrán explorar la rica oferta gastronómica, artesanal, cultural y turística que ofrece este emblemático puerto.
La exhibición destaca la importancia de Punto México como una plataforma para promover las diversas regiones del país. Los asistentes podrán interactuar con artesanos, agentes de viajes, planificadores de bodas y disfrutar de muestras gastronómicas y actividades culturales. Además, se resaltó el éxito del Carnaval Internacional de Mazatlán 2025, que atrajo a más de 1.2 millones de visitantes y generó una derrama económica estimada en más de 1,140 millones de pesos, alcanzando un 80% de ocupación hotelera.
Mireya Sosa Osuna, secretaria de Turismo de Sinaloa, invitó a los asistentes a descubrir los atractivos únicos del estado, como:
- El Faro de Mazatlán, el más alto del mundo.
- El malecón de Mazatlán, el segundo más largo de Iberoamérica.
- La Farolesa, la tirolesa más rápida y larga de Latinoamérica sobre el mar.
- El Acuario Mar de Cortés, el más grande de Latinoamérica.
- Los 5 Pueblos Mágicos de Sinaloa.
- Los Mochis, puerta de entrada a las Barrancas del Cobre.
Además, la secretaria destacó la importancia de la cultura de los Pueblos Originarios como pilar fundamental de la identidad sinaloense.
La muestra también incluye una exhibición de artesanías tradicionales, como alfarería, cerámica, tejidos en palma, alebrijes y máscaras de Carnaval, junto con presentaciones de banda sinaloense, un género musical emblemático del estado.
Josefina Rodríguez Zamora, secretaria de Turismo de México, subrayó la importancia de la colaboración entre los tres niveles de gobierno y el sector privado para consolidar a Sinaloa como un referente turístico nacional e internacional. Esta alianza ha permitido posicionar destinos como Mazatlán a nivel global, ofreciendo experiencias únicas que reflejan la diversidad y autenticidad de la región.
