La aerolínea estatal Boliviana de Aviación (BoA) anunció su vuelo inaugural hacia Santiago de Chile e Iquique para el próximo 26 de abril, con una ruta que conectará Santa Cruz, Iquique, Santiago y La Paz. Desde mayo, operará con dos frecuencias semanales: miércoles y domingos.
Este nuevo servicio beneficiará a más de 300 mil bolivianos residentes en Chile y fortalecerá los vínculos turísticos y comerciales entre ambos países. Además, BoA proyecta abrir próximamente la ruta La Paz–Arica.
Durante el anuncio, autoridades diplomáticas, representantes del sector privado y la Cámara de Turismo de Iquique reafirmaron su respaldo para asegurar el éxito de esta conexión aérea binacional.
