El Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones (MTC) presentó AeroDirecto , un innovador servicio de transporte público que conectará diversas zonas de Lima y Callao con la nueva terminal del Aeropuerto Internacional Jorge Chávez (AIJC). Este sistema contempla cinco rutas principales que operarán de manera directa hacia el aeropuerto, brindando una alternativa eficiente para los pasajeros que no cuentan con vehículo propio o prefieren evitar el taxi.
Las rutas establecidas son las siguientes:
- AeroDirecto Norte: Desde la intersección de las avenidas Izaguirre y Universitaria, recorriendo Tomás Valle y Morales Duárez.
- AeroDirecto Sur: Desde las avenidas Cuba y Brasil, pasando por La Paz y Venezuela.
- AeroDirecto Centro: Partiendo de Alfonso Ugarte con Nicolás de Piérola, transitando por Colonial y Faucett.
- AeroDirecto Quilca: Inicia en la avenida Quilca (Callao), conectando con Faucett hasta el aeropuerto.
- AeroDirecto Ventanilla: Recorre la avenida Gambeta y continúa por Faucett y Morales Duárez.
Servicios modernos y accesibles
AeroDirecto contará con 57 paraderos señalizados , personal de orientación de la ATU y autobuses modernos de menos de 10 años de antigüedad. Las unidades estarán equipadas con cámaras de seguridad internas, paneles luminosos para la identificación de rutas, anuncios en alta voz para las paradas y sistemas de monitoreo en tiempo real.
El servicio está diseñado para pasajeros que viajan con mochilas o equipaje de mano, ofreciendo una opción cómoda y segura. Las tarifas oscilan entre S/1.2 y S/5.00 , dependiendo de la distancia recorrida.
Infraestructura y proyección
Dentro de la nueva terminal, se han habilitado cuatro áreas de desembarque y una zona de embarque, además de 20 espacios para el estacionamiento de los autobuses. Este sistema operará como una solución temporal hasta la implementación de la Línea 4 del Metro de Lima y Callao , que conectará de manera masiva al aeropuerto con el resto de la ciudad.
Con AeroDirecto, el MTC busca mejorar la movilidad urbana y garantizar un acceso más eficiente al principal aeropuerto del país.
