La Dirección Desconcentrada de Cultura de Cusco inició una investigación contra influencers que habrían utilizado imágenes de Machu Picchu con fines publicitarios, violando el artículo 19 del Reglamento de Uso Sostenible. La norma busca proteger este Patrimonio Mundial Mixto y garantizar su conservación, prohibiendo expresamente el uso comercial de su imagen sin autorización.
Nino del Solar, jefe del Parque Arqueológico, alertó que estos casos configuran infracciones al reglamento que todos los visitantes aceptan al adquirir su boleto. “Machu Picchu es símbolo de la humanidad, no un escenario publicitario”, enfatizó, recordando que el artículo 20 establece sanciones para quienes incumplan las normas.
La institución advirtió que aplicará medidas correctivas y legales contra quienes usen fotografías o filmaciones del santuario con fines promocionales. “La protección de este patrimonio es responsabilidad compartida entre autoridades, visitantes e instituciones”, subrayó del Solar.
El llamado busca crear conciencia sobre las restricciones en el sitio arqueológico, donde incluso influencers con fines comerciales deben solicitar permisos especiales. Las acciones buscan preservar la integridad del monumento más icónico del Perú ante el creciente uso indebido en redes sociales.
