En un paso clave para la reactivación del turismo y la aviación comercial, Latam Airlines y Delta Air Lines anunciaron oficialmente la incorporación de Argentina a su joint venture , una alianza estratégica que potenciará la conectividad aérea entre Sudamérica, Estados Unidos y Canadá.
Durante el acto de presentación, el secretario de Turismo, Ambiente y Deportes de la Nación, Daniel Scioli , destacó el acuerdo como un pilar fundamental para el crecimiento del turismo receptivo argentino. “La unión hace la fuerza y la integración nos da esta oportunidad maravillosa de tener más conectividad en el marco de la libertad que se vive hoy en Argentina”, señaló Scioli, al tiempo que subrayó el compromiso del presidente Javier Milei de convertir al turismo en un sector estratégico dentro de una política de “cielos abiertos”.
El funcionario también aseguró que Argentina se proyecta como un destino estable, seguro y competitivo , con una oferta cada vez más adaptada a un turista exigente, interesado en experiencias de naturaleza, estadías prolongadas y turismo de reuniones.
Conectividad y fidelidad
Ramiro Alfonsín , vicepresidente comercial de Latam Airlines , experimentó la expansión de este joint venture, vigente desde hace dos años en la región y que ahora se integra formalmente a Argentina. “Nuestra red en el país ha crecido muchísimo. Hoy somos el principal operador de tráfico entre Argentina y el mundo”, sostuvo.
Por su parte, Perry Cantarutti , vicepresidente senior de Alianzas y Mercados Internacionales de Delta Air Lines , destacó que la alianza representa una “ profunda integración operativa ”, diseñada para ofrecer más rutas, mayor eficiencia y un servicio optimizado al pasajero entre Norteamérica y Sudamérica.
Los beneficios de esta alianza incluyen más opciones de vuelos , mayor flexibilidad y acumulación cruzada de millas entre los programas SkyMiles (Delta) y Latam Pass , lo que mejora notablemente la experiencia de viaje de los clientes frecuentes.
Reorganización en Latinoamérica
En paralelo al anuncio, se conoció que Latam Airlines ha renovado parte de su equipo directivo en una reciente reunión extraordinaria, manteniendo a Ignacio Cueto como presidente del grupo, según informó el portal especializado Reportur.com.ar.
Con esta incorporación, Argentina se posiciona con fuerza dentro del mapa de conectividad continental, fortaleciendo su presencia en mercados clave y apuntando a un perfil de viajero de alto valor.
